Benjamin Freedman stated in a 1961 speech, that the US entered world war 1 because the Zionist had convinced the British government that they could convince the US to enter the war in exchange for Palestine.

Britain and France were going to lose to Germany if the US did not enter. The US had no real reason to enter which is why they entered the war so late. Their conduit for convincing Woodrow Wilson was through the Zionist Supreme Court Justice and friend of Wilson; Louis Brandeis.

This also lines up with the signing of the Balfour declaration, which stated if Britain won the war they would give Palestine to the Zionist.

Benjamin Freedman was an American businessman and born and raised Jewish but converted to Catholicism. He was a vocal proponent of anti Zionism and provided great insight with his background.

Do I know for sure this is exactly how it all played out? No I don’t. But the incentives and timing all do align, and it’s true the US needed to enter the war in order for Britain to win, and it’s also true the US had no real interest in entering the war…
