The US is on pace to have a net negative migration for the first time in five decades.

Based on available data, immigration is projected to drop by 60% or more from the 2.8 million entrants recorded in 2024.

CNN is reporting that 2025 may mark the first time in five decades that America experiences negative net migration.

According to a study published by the San Francisco Federal Reserve July 17, net immigration will fall, in 2025, from 2.6-2.8 million to 1 million.
